“ I absolutely love The Brick Oven. Yes, food is awesome but the service is beyond any restaurant in town. I am specifically referring to Stasia who amazes me and my friends in her ability to serve everyone without a hitch. Friendly, professional and an asset to the restaurant. Menu is very eclectic and, so far, every meal I've had there has been delicious! I'll be back and bringing more of my friends. ”
“ This place is great for so many reasons but mainly the amazing food. For our first time trying this restaurant my husband got a bacon burger and fries and I ordered a BLTA with a side caesar. The portions of everything were huge and everything was delicious. I was surprised that even my side salad was amazing. They also have a cute pub vibe inside with taps all around the room. My husband ordered a beer that he loved, so we would come back for drinks and apps as well as for meals. Lastly, they were super busy when my family came in and had only one waitress at the time. While she was obviously extremely busy, she still got our order and checked on us fairly quickly and even brought my daughter some toys to play with at the table. This is definitely going to be a frequent stop for us from now on! ”
“ This place was surprisingly incredible. A few friends and I drove up from the Bay Area to hit the last few remaining Apple Hill ranches that were open, and we needed to pick a spot to eat for dinner. One of my friends chose this place, which my other friend and I agreed on. I am the type of person that likes having more control over where to eat, but this time I just thought I should concede with an open mind. I had no expectations and thought the food would be just good enough to eat. I sure was wrong. I was absolutely blown away by the pizza and ranch. We ordered a large cheese pizza, which my favorite style of pizza because it is so simple and can't be messed up. Just from first glance, I was surprised at how delicious the pizza looked before even taking a slice. It had those burnt cheese bubbles, which are the absolutely the best part of some pizzas, and also just gave off an impression of freshness; fresh cheese and herbs. For me personally though, a pizza cannot be perfected without a delicious ranch to complement it. The ranch here checks all the boxes...made in house, dilly, and creamy. The ambiance definitely gave off a nice sports pub atmosphere with plenty of TVs. The service was very quick, attentive, and welcoming. It's always nice when the staff serving show their personality and some humor. When we asked to split our bill, one of the guys serving us sarcastically was like: "ughhh really?" which we all thought was hilarious because we knew he wasn't being serious. Overall awesome experience and will definitely come back when I'm in the placerville area next year. ”
“ Service is quick and the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. The inferno burger is hot (not Da Bomb hot but sufficient to force a light sweat) and the fish and chips were good. Good selection of beers and local wines. ”
“ Thank goodness some co-workers invited me to this delicious restaurant! It's a hidden gem and they have the best potato skins and house salad. Don't miss out on this next time you're in Placerville! A plus service and food. Family friendly ”
“ We've probably been there dozens of times since our last review, but it's time to reassure everyone that The Brick Oven Pub in Placerville California is still one of our "go to" places! It is a wonderful blend of a neighborhood pub and a family friendly restaurant. The food is excellent, the beer and wine selection is broad, and the entire staff is bright, sharp, friendly and attentive. After all of these years (since the day it opened), The Brick Oven Pub retains the coveted "Ben & Gigi Gay Seal of Approval"! Give it a try! ”
“ My first time here and LOVED it !! The food was delicious. I enjoyed the fish and chips, the sandwich and the soup was great. Everything was homemade. I will DEFINITELY be back. ”
“ First time in. So let me start by saying we are going to try again... This visit was "off" but I feel like maybe the next one will be better. We sat in the back corner booth. Don't do that. If you move, it bumps the other people next to you. Some old fart had a bumping competition with my 16 year old and then wanted to talk nasty. So I had to mama-bear and shut that down quick. Not the restaurants fault, however better seating there should be 8n their "to-do" list if it isn't already. It put a damper on the visit and we decided to leave so thats why I'd like to try again. The appetizers were delicious and very pretty presentation! ”
